Before transitioning into real estate in 2013, her diverse skillset and approachable demeanor were put to use as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker at the Institute for Health and Recovery in Cambridge. Additionally, LeighAnn has worked extensively for CASA (Community Action for Safe Alternatives), a nonprofit organization in Winthrop, helping to guide youths and families through recovery. As a prevention coalition, CASA seeks to foster a community environment in which youth and families have opportunity to connect to support, resources and educational tools to make healthy decisions. Her endless efforts to better the community earned LeighAnn the distinction of being named Winthrop’s Woman of the Year in 2016.
She holds a Degree in Psychology from Curry College and earned her Master’s Degree at Boston University’s School of Social Work in 2009. When she’s not helping others, LeighAnn enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons and traveling.
